Plum Grove is a specialist wheat pools manager and trader. It's what we do.
This means that as a grower, you can take comfort from the fact that we focus our energies on studying the markets, the global supply and demand picture and forming a view on the direction of the price of wheat. We then use this view to develop a strategy to obtain the best return possible for your wheat.
Plum Grove are a fully audited company, registered in Australia with two Western Australian directors, so you have the security of knowing that your wheat is being managed by local people, right here in Australia.
How we manage our pools
Plum Grove have have two principle pool managers, Tony Smith and Rob Kelly. Tony and Rob are responsible for maintaining the trading position of the pools as well as monitoring the global supply and demand picture. Both Tony and Rob have first class honours degrees in Agricultural Science from the University of Western Australia.
Tony and Rob are backed up by key staff - General Manager Fred Guimbeau and Grains Analyst Ben Gliddon. The back up staff are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all financial and operational aspects of Plum Grove so that Tony and Rob can focus on what they do best - run pools.
